Frequently Asked Questions

I am a beginner in Yoga, where do I start?"If you've never done yoga before, then we recommend joining one of our 75 Minute 'Beginners 101' courses- these are held bianually so check on the 'Workshops & Courses' section of the website. The 6 week course will introduce you to all aspects of 'yoga' from the philosophy to the physical. There will be plenty of space for you to ask questions and to meet other new beginners. After this course you will have the confidence to join in any of the classes offered at The Yoga Loft. Alternatively, if you cannot make the beginners class, we recommend a private yoga class to assess which group class you would be best suited to. If you would like to speak to us, please email info@theyogaloft.ch

Do I have to book in advance? How do I register and pay?*** As there are only 3/4 spaces in the studio, it is compulsory to book into each class/course/workshop to ensure your space. REGISTER/BOOK & PAY ONLINE Via the website there are a variety of options to book and pay via the 'Timetable & Bookings' Page 1. Purchase Class Passes on the 'Plans & Pricing' page and see 'class credit' on your account. You can then use these credits to book into a class without adding in your bank details each time. This way is also the most cost effective. 2. Book individual classes online using your bank card (these details can be saved into your account for ease). The full class fee will apply here. 3. Paying in Cash? Reserve a space in the class on the checkout page. The full class fee will be paid on entering the studio (please arrive a 10 minutes early if you would like to pay in this way)- cash or card is accepted at the studio. This should give your digestive system enough time to digest and you won’t feel uncomfortable during class.
